Strawberry Jam

Easy Strawberry Jam

8 cups Pureed Strawberries (I blended up berries and added more until I had 8 cups of pureed strawberries in my blender) If you prefer a thicker texture, you may mash your berries.
3 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Lemon Juice

1. Mix 3 ingredients together in large pot. Heat on Medium until sugar is dissolved.

2. Increase heat until boiling and continue to boil for 25-30 minutes. Stir frequently.

3. Remove from heat and fill hot sterile mason jars leaving about 1/4 inch space at top. Remove any bubbles on top with a knife.

4. Make sure top of jar are clean, Place covers on and tighten loosely. DO Not Over Tighten.

5. Place bottles in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove from water and let sit on cooking rack overnight. When you hear popping sounds, your bottles are sealed. If any bottles do not seal, refrigerate and use within the next few weeks.

Makes 8 cups jam.
